Jesus Christ came to pay the price so that we can be saved to save others and the only way others can be saved is if we spread the Gospel by every means possible. As a Christian who have received salvation and the blessings that it brings, you have a responsibility to spread the Gospel using your resources like these women did. Their attitude was an exceptional one and God wants us to emulate this and be kingdom financiers. So all they could think of was to ensure that the Gospel spreads in the land through their giving. They had a sense of responsibility, they knew that this Gospel that they had benefited from, can also benefit others too. In other words, from the little they had, they thought it wise to give for the furtherance of the Gospel. They had benefited from the gospel and had received their healing, so in appreciation, they began to give towards the preaching of the gospel and they did this, not out of their abundance but out of whatever they had.
